Link Building is the process of getting quality Web sites to link to your Web site, in order to improve search engine rankings. While no one can confidently say exactly how much it plays into Google’s algorithm (or any other search engine) – experts unanimously agree that it is an essential part of the equation. Any SEO campaign without a clear link building strategy is incomplete and likely to never achieve maximum potential.

Thanks for sharing these valuable. Since generating links to your website is by far the most important aspect of any internet marketing campaign, it’s imperative that you find ways to not only build as many backlinks to your site as possible, but to obtain relevant links that will generate traffic and improve rankings.

In addition to the SEO Moz links you listed, I would have to add their annual ranking study for 2009, which is incredibly detailed:

In the local SEO space, David Mihm, who Rand Fishkin interviewed this last summer for their weekly video series also published a Local SEO Ranking Factors study:
